| I support legal immigration. We are not a nation, however, if we do not have borders. Our borders need to be secure. Until that happens, there is no point in discussing what should happen to the illegal immigrants in our country today. In 1986, President Reagan worked with Congress to address the illegal immigration situation of the day. Amnesty was granted to those in this country at the time and the border was to be secured. Congress has never secured the border. I support fencing on our southern border, e-verify for employment, and enforcement of our current immigration laws. | |||

Our trade imbalances must be made more favorable to our Country and our workers (us) and part of this is not approving the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). Any trade deal must go through Congress and benefit the American Worker. Decreasing burdensome regulation on job creators must begin now.
